Dear reader / fellow Christian,
It is never appropriate for any evangelist to roll out red carpet to attract people to come to God, but on the contrary it is God's nature to reach out and embrace wounded souls.
Hence He desires us, the imperfect instruments to be groomed towards perfection by His various mysterious ways.
God has decided a person's redemption before he is born, and similarly God can also forgive and grant the thief (sinner) on the cross (with Him) with salvation by HIs merciful and divine command. It is never God's desire and plan for anyone to be lost, as He is our Beloved Heavenly Father.
Naturally He has already provided basic facilities like food and shelter to nurture us after we come into this world, so that we can adore, worship, thank and glorify Him
He continues to journey and shows us the ways to salvation through many channels and instruments because of the existence of the original sins from Adam and Eve - must be cleansed and purified. So this requires individual to respond through our wounded crosses (from original sins) by accepting the faith through baptism in the Lord Jesus Christ. Baptism will set us free into new horizons of faith, hope and charity into eternity with Him.
Nobody can hold another being responsible for his own pride and arrogant when he is not going to pick up the new life being shown and offered to him. One may face the consequences of eternal punishment or to inherit eternal bliss depend solely on God's mercy, and not from our merits. To a thief, a prostitute or a tax collector, He displayed mercy and they were saved.
Heaven is NOT to be earned by our good works. We must deliver good works simply because God is divinely good, and we are created in His Image. Salvation has already been won by our Lord Jesus Christ by His death on the Cross for us when we were still sinners. Therefore it is a privilege for anyone to inherit His resurrection to whom He chooses to grant (as we thought). In actual fact, He has granted salvation to everyone of His creation, but it is a matter of whether one is willing to respond and receive it.
In the final analysis, it is only right that we (already a disciples) must return all the goodness to God by loving Him because He loves us first. By proclaiming His Kingdom through evangelisation is the only way to return our gratitude, thanks and love to Him.
