Birthday Celebration in Christian Way.

I would like to share about birthday celebration.

Many of us are not very clear or do not understand or take for granted on the important of celebrating our birthday.

We always thought of a merry celebration with foods and activities alone to mark the event, and that's all; not knowing the actual meaning or priority to be given for such celebration.

We think that we deserve life if it is not given by God. We think of celebrating for our own purpose, and not for God's purpose, then the celebration is actually become meaningless.

If we prioritise the purpose of celebrating with thanksgiving in heart and mind to God first for our given life, the gratitude, happiness and joy felt, shall overflow to sharing of food and fellowship with people around us; then the celebration become meaningful and complete. 

This is actually a celebration we owe to God, and we MUST celebrate; at least with the prayer of thanksgiving or Thanksgiving Mass.
